Dolly Shoemaker

Dolly Wells Shoemaker, age 80, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017.

She was a graduate from Louisiana School for the Blind.

Dolly is survived by her daughter, Kim Shoemaker Jarreau and husband Corey Jarreau; her grandson, Adam McGraw; her sister, Ruby Nelson; her brother, James Wells; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Lena Breeden; and her brothers, Norman Wells and C.O. Wells.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 11:00am until funeral service at 1:00pm. Burial will immediately follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, Cancer Research Society, or Animal Welfare Institute in Dolly's name.
