Dolly Fontenot

Dolly R. Fontenot, 61, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014 at the Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. She was born in Monroe, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Dolly was nicknamed Angel by her family and friends and was loved and adored dearly by her beloved husband. She was a graduate of the Baker High School Class of 1971. Dolly had many hobbies such as raising her dogs, feeding hummingbirds, and writing poems, one in particular entitled My Babies. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Laird S. Fontenot niece, Pam R. Jones nephew, Jason Reppond three great nephews, Joshua Jones, Caleb Jones, and Kayden Rappond and one great niece, LaCee Day. Preceded in death by her father, Charles Reppond mother, Pamela Crease Reppond brother, Charles Reppond, Jr. and nephew, Charles Warren Reppond. Visiting will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 from 5 pm to 8 pm, with a rosary at 7 pm. Visiting will resume on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at St. George Catholic Church, 7808 St. George Dr., Baton Rouge, from 10:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am, conducted by Father Mike Schatzle. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. The family wishes to give a special thanks to St. George for her prayer blanket.
