A loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend died at 11:52 a.m. Monday, May 11, 2009, at her home. She was 59. A native of Brusly St. Martin and a resident of Baton Rouge, she enjoyed life to her fullest. Retired from the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources with 16 years of service, she also worked in floristry, banking and research during her adult life. She enjoyed crafts and working on her house and yard. Her passion was traveling, having visited 48 states and three countries. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Wednesday, May 13, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Old Jefferson Highway, on Thursday at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Michael Collins. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her husband, William Bill Jones; father and mother, Herman T-Man and Nelia Cedotal; son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Bunny Jones; three sisters, Clarise Gimbrone and husband Lynn, Brenda Cazes and husband Jim, and Louise Dugas; brother, Ricky Cedotal; two nieces and seven nephews. Preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Rudolph and Nola Breaux; paternal grandparents, Augustin and Louise Cedotal; and brother-in-law, Larry Dugas. Pallbearers will be Rumsey Albarado, Todd Gimbrone, Monty Dugas, Brandon Cedotal, Jason Bryan and Perry Felarise. She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for 16 years. The family would like to say thank you to the team at Pennington Cancer Center and Baton Rouge General Medical Center Oncology and Radiation Department. It is often said that you don't know what you've got 'till it's gone this was definitely not the case this time.
