Dianne Courtney

Dianne Wells Courtney, age 70, a resident of Baton Rouge, was called to her heavenly home on May 25, 2021.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She dedicated her life to taking care of her family, spoiling them and they truly could not have done it without her. Her loving nature, smile, strength, kindness, and patience will be missed.

Dianne is survived by her husband of 50 years, Don Courtney; her daughter, Amy Courtney Guelfo; her son, Chad Courtney and his wife Rebecca; her grandchildren, who called her Mam, Tyler Guelfo and his wife Dorothy; Jessica Guelfo, and Ella Courtney; and her siblings, Julia Sanders and her husband Bo; Wayne Wells and his wife Jeannie; and Jerry Wells.

She is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, A.Z. and Bertie Hackney, her father, Clyde Wells.

Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 2 from 12:30 until services at 2:30.
