Derek Paddie

Derek M. Paddie, age 33, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital.

Derek loved to go hunting, fishing, and camping. He also found joy in cooking and spending quality time with his close knit family.

He is survived by his daughter, Olivia Paddie; parents, Christine Paddie and John Daigre; brother, Roger D. Cupit; sister, Becky Burton; half-sisters, Melissa Daigre and Ashley Dupuy; grandparents, Geneva Paddie, Mary McCall, and Benjamin Paddie; nieces, Kristina Gomez and Brianna Lindeau; nephews, Ricky Burton and Wyatt Lindeau; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Derek is preceded in death by his grandfather, Red Daigre, and uncles, Ben Paddie and James A. Daigre Jr.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, from 10:00 AM until the time of services.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home.

Interment will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
