Dennis Lloyd Sommers, 58, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2014. He was born in Baton Rouge, LA and was a resident of Central, LA.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Christie Chris Falcon Sommers daughters, Jaime Hall and husband Patrick and Laurie Dantin and husband Michael grandchildren, Ashlyn and Landon Hall, Abigail, William and Andrew Dantin sisters, Melanie Mullinax and husband Roy and Nevon Dukaric and husband Duke brothers, John Sommers and wife Patsy and Jeff Sommers and wife Carolyn motherinlaw, Camellia Falcon and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his daughter, Emily Sommers parents, Albert and Patricia Gautier Sommers and fatherinlaw, Roland Falcon.
Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Visiting hours will resume on Friday, June 20, 2014 at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 5657 Thomas Rd., Baton Rouge, LA 70811 from 9:00 am until service time. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, conducted by Father Frank Bass. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will be John, Jeff and Daniel Sommers, Patrick Hall, Michael Dantin, Scott Gremillion, Walter Gravois and Beau Blackmon. Honorary pallbearers will be Landon Hall, William and Andrew Dantin.
