Denise Wasson

Denise Gayle Wasson, native and resident of Baton Rouge, La, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at the age of 46. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Varel Lee and Adler Bertrand daughter, Hope Elise Wasson stepdaughters, Crystal and Julia Fredieu stepgrandson, Sebastian Reyes brothers, Darren Wasson and wife Cindy, Tommy Bertrand and wife Amanda, Dennis Bertrand, and Barry Bertrand sister, Cindy Bates and husband Steve grandmother, Lucielle James aunts, Clinel Davis , and Kathy Martin longtime boyfriend, Mark White numerous nieces and nephews and one greatniece. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert D. Wasson and grandfathers, Kline James, and Norman Thibodeaux. Denise loved to sing and play the piano. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and friend and will be missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 2 pm.
