A retired office manager with Petrochem Maintenance Inc., she died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, after a tough battle with cancer at her home with her entire family around her. She was 63, a resident and native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Parkview Baptist Church on Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 11 a.m. until religious service at 1:30 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Bill Pruitt. Survived by her husband, Leroy Munson Webb; mother, Ruth Beeson Schoonmaker; daughter, Jennifer Webb Russell and husband Paul; grandchild, Katelynne Marie Russell; sisters, Billie Ruth Langlois, JoAnne Garland, Sienna McCarstle and Kathleen Weems; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by her father, George B. Schoonmaker; sister, Lee Nora Schoonmaker; and nephew, Michael B. McCarstle. Pallbearers will be Scott McCarstle, Jeremy Weems, Hank Langlois, Luke Langlois, Philip Covington and Steven Edmonson. She was active with the Parkview Baptist Church adult and children's choirs.
