Dawn Nicole Singer Pitkin, 43, of Baton Rouge, left us Feb. 26, 2014, after a short but well fought battle with Melanoma cancer. A Celebration of her Life will be held on March 14 from 47 p.m. at Resthaven, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge and the traditional St. Patricks Day Parade party will go on. Those whose lives she touched are encouraged to join us at one or both of these events. Dawn is survived by her partner Tyler Durrett, her father Terry Singer and his wife Terri Singleton and well as numerous other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Greg Pitkin, mother Mary Phillips, and grandparents, Henry Ivan and Audrey Talbot Singer, and Durwood and Margaret Phillips. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS Association of LAMS. As Dawn would say: Peace, Love, Light. Please visit www.resthavenbatonrouge.com to sign the online guestbook.
