I am safely home in heaven oh so happy and so bright. There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light. Our beloved Dawn, whom we loved and will miss always, was called home on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009. She was 28 and a native of Baton Rouge. She is survived by her baby girl, Sophia Michelle Harrison; mother, Laura Lee DePhillips; father, Darrell W. Gautier Sr.; brother, Darrell W. Gautier Jr.; fianc, Jeremiah Harrison and his parents, James and Debra Harrison, who loved her as a daughter; aunt and godmother, Deborah A. DePhillips; uncle and godfather, John J. DePhillips Jr. and his wife, Aunt Ethel; maternal grandfather, John J. DePhillips Sr. and his wife, Josie Mae; aunt, Jacqueline Gautier; cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Anne DePhillips; and paternal grandmother, Joyce Gautier. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Monday, Jan. 19, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at St. Patrick's Catholic Church on Tuesday, Jan. 20, from 1 p.m. until service at 2 p.m. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
