David Shanks

David Noel Shanks passed away on Friday, Aug 17, 2018. He was a native of New Orleans, who made his home in Baton Rouge. He worked for the state of Louisiana for 35 years. In addition to working for the state of Louisiana, he enjoyed teaching computer applications. Proudly serving in the army, David was known for being hard-working and kind. He is survived by his wife, Maria Amintha and his three daughters, Chantal, Monique, and Myra, their husbands, and six grandchildren. David was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church where he once volunteered as a catechist and lector. He will forever live in our hearts. Visiting hours will be at Resthaven Funeral Home Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 9:00 AM until service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory
