The family of David Morrisse wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr Glenn Gomes and Dr Angela Harris, his Ochsner providers who provided caring attention for David for many years with kindness, empathy, and compassion. He was under the care of Hospice Compassus briefly prior to his passing, and we thank the medical staff, and especially Julian Richard, Chaplain with Hospice Compassus. He not only helped David through his time of need, but also reached out to family several times to provide loving attention, prayer, and reassurance. Finally, and very importantly, we thank and honor the staff and residents of Catholic Presbyterian residence. Maintenance staff, security staff, and management went the extra distance to provide David with the assistance that helped him to remain independent in his own apartment until the very last of his life. His independence was so important to David, and their kind and caring help, given in so many ways, will always be remembered by his family. He enjoyed many good friends who were residents there, whose friendship was a blessing to him. Thank you.
