David Malone, Sr.

David Charles Malone, Sr., 74, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013. A resident of Baton Rouge, previously residing 30 years in Orange, CA, and a native of Amite, LA. He was devoted to his family. David proudly served in the United States Navy, was a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University and member of the TKE Fraternity. He worked at Union Carbide in Taft and retired from Amoco in Issues Management and Sales. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, June Tully Malone children, Molly Desselle and husband Al, Mindy Hannemann and husband Howard, David Malone, Jr., and Monte Malone eight grandchildren, Jacob and wife Shayli, Kyle, Micah, Seth, Ammon and Shay Hannemann, and Amber and Jon Desselle sisterinlaw, Jean Tully brotherinlaw, Tom Tully and wife Donna, and sisterinlaw, Debby Malone King. He is preceded in death by his parents Vincent Malone and Evelyn Perry Malone and brother, James Jim Malone. A memorial service will be held on December 12, 2013, from 11:30 p.m. at St. George Catholic Church, 7808 St. George Dr., Baton Rouge, LA 70809, presided by Father Mike Schatzle, and a private burial will take place in Amite, LA.
