David Maxwell Cook, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2017, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Visitation will begin at 10:30 am on Thursday, May 11, 2017, in the library of the First United Methodist Church of Baton Rouge. A memorial service will follow and will begin at 12:00 pm and will be held in the Aldrich Chapel at FUMC.
David is preceded in death by Ira Leo Cook.
David is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Debbie Cook; his precious daughter, Natalie Cook; his mother, Doris Cook; his sister, Janet Cook Stevens; and his brother, Warren Pratt.
David worked as assistant Chief Executive Office at Christwood Retirement Community in Covington, Louisiana for many years. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. David was good natured, strong in his faith, and enjoyed home life and his puppies. He was liked and admired by all who knew and met him, and will be greatly missed by all.
