Daryl Rousseau

Daryl John Rousseau, age 50, who was a resident of Greenwell Springs, LA and a native of Baton Rouge, LA., passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2015.

Daryl was a wonderful husband, father, and friend. He was a graduate of Redemptorist Sr. High School Class of 1983. He was an awesome athlete from the time he was a young child. He participated in all sports and passed that love of sports down to all three of his children. He had a great love for his children and he was their biggest fan.

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Douglas Rousseau; daughter, Alexis D'Shea Rousseau; two sons, Daryl John "DJ" Rousseau II, and Blair Lee Rousseau; mother, Mercedes Glynn Rousseau; sisters, Donna Rousseau Guidroz and husband Ricky, Mona Rousseau Bencaz; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Buddy Rousseau; brother, Lee Rousseau; paternal grandparents, Jules Rousseau and Effie LeBlanc Rousseau; and maternal grandparents, Percy Glynn and Ann Cavalier Glynn.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Friday, February 6, 2015, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 865 Hatchell Lane, Denham Springs, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015, at 2:00 PM, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, officiated by Reverend Jamin David.

Interment will take place at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
