Darlene Coddington Redd,
of Baton Rouge, died June 12, 2014 of breast cancer. Born in Painesville, Ohio, she was sixtyfour and a retired accountant for the State.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Redd two stepsons, Randall Alex Redd and Richard Michael Redd and his wife Christa their sons, Garrett and Emmitt her mother, Audrey Coddington a twin sister, Marlene Hubble and her husband Henry a niece, Michelle Hubble McCarty and her husband Aaron and their daughter, Audrey Jane a nephew, Hank Hubble and his wife Frida and their son, Harry. She was preceded in death by her father, Donovan Coddington.
Darlene enjoyed her large family and many friends. She loved to cook and garden, was an amateur floral arranger and decorator. She frequented local garage sales as a picker for an antique dealer. She was recently featured in the Baton Rouge episode of the television show, Antiques Roadshow. She was taken too soon, and she is loved and missed.
Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Monday, June 16, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visiting will resume on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 10:00 am until service time. Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon, conducted by Chris Andrews. Interment to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
