Retired and a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 198, he died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, in Baton Rouge. He was 65 and a resident of Central. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Monday, Oct. 19, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home on Tuesday from noon until service at 2pm. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his wife of 43 years, Beverly Aucoin; daughter, Kimberly Aucoin Borres and husband Brian; son, Brian Aucoin; special aunt, Thelma Brian; sister, Cherry Berthelot and husband Philip; brother, Jimmie D. Aucoin and wife Jeanne; grandson, Chase Borres; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie and Myrtle Aucoin. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association . He was a member of the Louisiana Thoroughbred Breeders Association and the American Quarter Horse Association.
