Daniel Phillips

Daniel R. Phillips DA, native of Baker, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the age of 80. A retired Public Relations Manager for Ciba Geigy Corp he is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Betty L. Phillips children and their spouses, Steven and Cindy Phillips, Susan Sissy and Clay Harold, Kerry and Cindy Lucy Phillips, Michael Kelly and Lisa Phillips, and Nincy Phillips and Karl Vizinat grandchildren, Jamie and Ben Daigle, Lucas Harold, Scott Phillips and fianc Wendy Anderson, Kyle Phillips, Joshua and Jordan Phillips, Justin and Naomi Doll, Ashley and Chris Cifreo, and Hope Vizinat greatgrandchildren, Riley and Harper Daigle, Aubry Doll, and Jennifer and Kathryn Cifreo one sister, Francis Pillman and one brother, Patrick Phillips. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Sue Arbour Phillips brothers, Robert, Lawrence, and Gerald Phillips and sisters, Carol Kerman, Beverly Whalen, and Kathryn Cambre. While serving in the US Navy, Daniel received the National Defense medal, China Service ribbon, Korean Service medal, and good conduct medal. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012 at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, from 9 am until funeral service at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
