Daniel Edelen

An employee of Bucks Pizza and a resident of Zachary, he was called home to Jesus at 12:25 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2009, as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was 30 and a native of Baton Rouge. Graveside service at Resthaven Gardens of Memory on Thursday, April 30, at 10 a.m., conducted by Brother Tom Schreeder. Survived by his wife, Rachel R. Edelen; father, Paul K. Edelen; mother and stepfather, Bernadine and Joel Davis; son, Thomas A. Edelen; three sisters, Danielle Shaffer and husband Ronnie, Jeannine Robertson and husband Paul, and Jessica Davis; three brothers, Michael Edelen, Christopher Edelen and wife Tressy, and Jonathan Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leslie and Elizabeth NaNa Edelen; and maternal grandmother, Grandmaw Doris Newton. He attended Grace Baptist Church.
