Dane Mccandless

A sales representative with Scott Bailey Office Group, she passed away at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2009, at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. She was 24 and a resident and native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 31, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Religious service at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Miles Walsh. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her father and mother, Robert Bob and Rebecca McCandless, of Baton Rouge; brother, Spencer Michael McCandless, of Baton Rouge; grandmothers, Mable McCandless, of Baton Rouge, and Esta Delaney, of New Orleans; uncles and aunts, Richard Mac and Judy McCandless, of Baton Rouge, Shirley McCandless, of Columbia, S.C., Albert and Emily Delaney, of Baton Rouge, David Delaney, of New Orleans, Patrick and Karen Delaney, of New Orleans, Shannon and Don Patin, of Haymarket, Va., and Lauren and Randy Camardelle, of New Orleans; and numerous cousins, other family members and friends. Preceded in death by her grandfathers, Richard W. R.W. McCandless and Albert S. Delaney. In lieu of flowers, family requests Mass in her honor. Dane attended Our Lady of Mercy grade school, St. Joseph's Academy and LSU.
