Dale Thomas Lotz passed away peacefully at home on August 13, 2019 at the age of 63. He was a Livingston Parish resident and native of New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denham Springs, LA on Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 9am until 11am with a funeral mass to follow.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; children, Johnny Lotz and Ryan Lotz; stepchildren, Jeremy Aytona, Trina Hille and husband Trey Hille, and Meagan Aytona; grandchildren, Nathan, Dominic and Elizabeth Aytona and Aaron and Cecelia Hille; brothers, Joseph Lotz, Jr. and wife Lois, Robert Lotz and wife Nanette, and Edward Lotz and wife Lisa; last surviving aunt, Rosemary Orgeron; nieces and nephews and numerous cousins; all whom he loved dearly. Preceded in death by his father, Joseph F. Lotz, Sr., mother, Audrey West Lotz and his grandparents. Dale was a fan of the Saints and Tulane football teams and the New York Yankee’s was his favorite baseball team.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society, The Baton Rouge General Foundation or Hospice of Baton Rouge.
The family of Dale wishes to extend our sincere thanks to neurologist, Dr. Pedro Oliveira; oncologist, Dr. Pavani Ellipeddi; pulmologist Dr. Stephen Brierre; sitter, Dianne Dubisson who compassionately cared for him during the day; the entire Baton Rouge General staff for being supportive throughout his illness, and Hospice of Baton Rouge for their kind, gentle, and compassionate care.
