Cynthia Roland

Cynthia Diane Hudgins Roland,
native of Baton Rouge and resident of Greenwell Springs, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the age of 57 after a hard fought battle with cancer. She loved reading, watching Duck Dynasty, and especially enjoyed watching her grandsons baseball games. Cynthia was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas Tracy Roland daughter, Nicole Mayers and husband Travis Nicoles brother, Gerald Efferson three grandchildren, Grant Mayers, Lane Mayers, and Drew Mayers mother, Nina LaVerne Hudgins, Stott and sisters, Nena Montagnino and Beverly Branum. Cynthia is preceded in death by her father, Valton C. Hudgins, Sr. brother, Valton C. Hudgins, Jr. and Austin Efferson.

Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 5:00 pm until service time. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm. Interment will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 10:00 am.
