Curtis Ferrara

Curtis M. Ferrara, age 65, passed away on April 8, 2017 at his residence. He is in eternal peace with his mother and God's Angels. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family.

Curtis graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Accountancy and with a Master of Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude. He was nominated to the honor society, Who's Who Among Students in America's Universities. After receiving his Masters, Curtis processed to obtain his CPA Certification. Receiving his Master Degree and Certification, he began his studies and research for a year and a half to obtain his Doctorate in Business Administration.

He was a member of St. Patrick Usher Society and an Army Veteran. In 2014, he retired from employment with the State of Louisiana.

He is survived by his daughter, Rachel F. de St. Germain and husband Bob; his sister, Rosalyn F. La Bella and husband Charles, Jr.; his brother, Wallace G. Ferrara and wife Cindy; his grandchildren, Ariel R. Williams and husband Jacob, Tab Ringe, Haley de St. Germain, Brooke de St. Germain, and Alyssa Thompson; his great grandchild, Avery Harper Williams; his nephew, Charles La Bella, III and wife Denise; his niece, Laurie L. Roth and husband Ricky; 2 great nieces, Kaylee and Sophie; and 3 great nephews, Zack, Logan, and Hunter.

Curtis is preceded in death by his parents, George Ferrara and Josephine S. Ferrara.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 10:00am until services 12:00pm. Burial will immediately follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
