Crystal Herrington Sistrunk

Crystal Herrington Sistrunk passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 at the age of 68.  She spent her career as a barber/beautician at the Jackson War Veterans Home.  She was a member of the VFW Post 3784, loved to volunteer with the Baker VFW Post 4224, and she was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fleet Reserve. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Sistrunk; parents, Millard and Theresa Herrington, and son, Buck Fontenot.

She is survived by her children, Lonnie Causey (Kathy Causey) and Scarlet Fontenot (Carson Broussard); grandchildren, Zachary Causey (Jocelyn Causey) and Evan Causey; sisters, Lorita Sharon and Catherine Altazan (Jim Altazan); and a dear friend, Phyllis Pettit.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
