Cory Parker

September 10, 1985 — February 18, 2017

Cory Kevin Parker, 31, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on February 18th at home.

He attended LSU with an interest in computers. He was a fantasy role-playing game designer in his spare time. He was extremely creative and bright. As Cory would put it "he knew a little about a lot of things but not a lot about one thing". He will be missed.

Cory is survived by his parents, Anthony (Tony) Parker and Glenda Reaves Parker; his brother, Justin Keith Parker (Stephanie); his nieces, Lily and Ella of Lake Oswego, Oregon; his sister, Kristian Shelly Parker (Kelly); his nephew, Gage; his grandparents, Harvey & Eva Reaves, and Gloria Parker; his aunts & uncles, Charlene & James (Jem) Myers, James (Al) & Janora Parker, and Cindy & Jeff Knighten; his cousins, Jay & Julie Reaves (Dylan & Drew), Chris Myers, Matthew & Brittny Myers (Graham), Michelle & Wes Hardy, Dinah & Kenny Shelby (Emmalinn & Maelyn), and Andrea Boquet.

He is preceded in death by his uncles, Harvey Richard Reaves, and Royce Kevin Reaves; and his grandfather, Albert Parker.

Visitation will be at Cross Point Baptist Church, 14965 Airline Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA, on February 25th from 9:30 am until services at 10:30am.

A special thanks to family, friends, church family, and neighbors.
