Clyde Turner

A native of Cottonport, LA. and a resident of Baton Rouge, he passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at his residence. He was 75 years old and a retired Construction Estimator. Visiting will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 5pm until 8pm. Visiting will resume at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Lane, on Friday, May 6, 2011 from 10am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am, conducted by Rev. Jerry Martin. Burial will be in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by his wife, Audrey L. Turner a daughter, Greta Rivers, her husband, Gordon and their daughters, Brittney and Lesley Rivers of Baton Rouge sistersinlaw, Ina Veillion of Port Allen and Erline Moras of Marksville brothersinlaw, Ervin LaCombe of New Iberia and Daniel LaCombe of Hessmer six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elden Turner and a son, Carey Paul Turner. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
