Clint "Kevin" Jowers

It is with sadness for his children that we announce the passing of Clint “Kevin” Jowers.  He courageously fought his battle with cancer for over three years and passed away peacefully on September 16, 2022.

Kevin was born on July 6, 1965, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Ida Laiche Jowers and Clint Jowers (deceased).  Kevin worked for the State of Louisiana for 25 years serving as an Applications Developer.  Kevin’s passion for football, especially the LSU Tigers football team, was legend.  His two children were the loves of his life and his devotion to his beloved mother was evident to all who knew him.

Kevin is survived by his children, Taylor Renee’ Jowers and Samuel Allen Jowers.  He also leaves to mourn his passing his mother Ida Jowers, his sister Renee’ Lawson and her husband Tim, his nephew Timothy Lawson, Jr.  and his former wife, Jodi Sanders Rollins and her husband Micah who graciously took Kevin into their home and cared for him.  Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Clint Franklin Jowers as well as his grandparents and many other loving family members.

His children would like to thank Dr. Vince Cataldo and Dr. Kevin Dean and the staff at Clarity Hospice for caring for their daddy.  They would also like to thank the Monceaux family as well as Karen Evans and his entire work family for their kindness and support.

Funeral services will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Jefferson Hwy. on Wednesday September 21, 2022, with visitation starting at 10:00 am and funeral services at 12:00 pm. Kevin will be inurned at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Pallbearers will be Micah Rollins, Nathan Monceaux, Timothy Lawson, Sr. and Timothy Lawson, Jr.
