Clifford Pierce Dixon, resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on December 20th.
Clifford, 'Cliff,' Dixon was born in Newellton, Louisiana in Tensas Parish on April 17, 1955. As a young boy, his family moved to Baton Rouge. Cliff graduated from lstrouma High School and proudly served his nation in the US Navy. Cliff worked for the City of Baton Rouge as an electrician for over 25 years. Cliff was an avid reader, enjoyed playing cards with friends, loved traveling with his wife, friends, and family, and never missed an opportunity to cheer on LSU and the Saints.
Cliff is survived by wife Renita; daughter Tara; son Eric and daughter-in-law Jannean; granddaughters Lily, Kate; and two sisters Esther Anne and Tonja.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Eric; father, William; and mother, Lucille.
A celebration of Clifford’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. A visitation will begin at 9:00 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home. 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
