He died on April 12, 2009 at 11:45pm at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 91 years old, native of Maringouin and a resident of Baton Rouge for the past 58 years. He was a retired carpenter with Local 1098 and a W.W. II US Army veteran. He would be remembered for his gentle smile, easy going demeanor, his enduring faith and endless generosity. Visitation at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Tuesday, April 14 at 5pm till 9pm. Recitation of the Rosary at 5pm. Visitation resumes at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Lane, On Wednesday, April 15 at 10am till Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Conducted by Fr. Jerry Martin. Military burial will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lee Anna Landry LeBlanc; children, James Brent LeBlanc and wife Angela of Covington, GA; Linda L. Pizzolato and husband David, Sr. of Greenwell Springs; Terrell Terry L. Harris and husband George of Charleston, S.C.; Daughter-in-Law, Cheryl Jex LeBlanc of Renton, WA; Son-in-Law, Paul Brown and wife Lina of Baytown, TX; two sisters, Helen L. Blanchard of Livonia and Anna L. Couvillon of Baton Rouge; brothers, Charles Ray LeBlanc and wife Nancy of New Orleans; Euclid T. LeBlanc and wife Josie of Ocean Side, CA. He has 28 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Cleve P. LeBlanc, Jr.; a daughter, Peggy L. Brown; his parents, Lessin and Lucille Hebert LeBlanc; 4 brothers, Nolan, Norman, Clifton and Hubert LeBlanc. Pallbearers will be grandsons, David J. Pizzolato, Jr.; Michael Brown Cody LeBlanc; Stephen Harris; Paul Harris and Markus Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are grandson Lance LeBlanc and great grandsons, Jonathan Pizzolato; Hunter Crouthers, and Brett Brown.
