Cleon James Guillot, age 74, native of Marksville and resident of St. Amant, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016.
He graduated from Marksville High School. He graduated from Louisiana State University and San Jacinto College. Cleon was a member of Marksville Masonic Lodge #269. He retired as a Nursing Home Administrator and was a Notary Public.
Cleon is survived by his wife, Priscilla (Pat) Guillot; brother, Michael Guillot; brothers-in-law, John D. Fore, Jr., Delmar L. Fore, Don Burell, and Len Matherne; sisters-in-law, Kathryn Blair Burell, Janet A. Matherne, Rebecca M. Fore, Elke Guillot, and Peggy Guillot; nieces, Kami Guillot, Joy Guillot, Priscilla Fore, Kathryn Fore, and Janissa Laviolette; nephews, William B. Stubbs and Raymond Laviolette; great-niece, Amanda Laviolette; and great-nephews, Joshua and Jonathan Laviolette.
Cleon was preceded in death by his parents, Cleonard and Odyle Guillot; and brothers, Cleonard J. Guillot, Jr., Robert A. Guillot, and Jimmy L. Guillot.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, from 9:00 am until services at 11:00 am.
Pallbearers will include Michael Guillot, John D. Fore, Jr., Delmar L. Fore, Chris Paul St. Romain, Raymond Laviolette, Don Burell, and Len Matherne.
Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
