Claudia Hinds

A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Rhode Island, she died at 6:38 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at her daughters home in Houston. She was 73. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Friday, April 16, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting continues at the funeral home chapel Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until religious service at 10:30 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Ken Carroll. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Hinds Waltko and husband Jonathan, of Brentwood, Tenn., and Susan Hinds Brenner and husband Bruce, of Houston a son, Stephen Hinds and wife Karen, of Baton Rouge a sister, Dorothy Fielder and husband Doug eight grandchildren, Melissa McGee Henderson and husband Benjamin, Jason McGee, Ryan Hinds, Samantha Hinds, Seth Brenner, Michele Talbot, Kristen Talbot and Jeremy Talbot and three greatgrandchildren, Colton Henderson, Jacob Henderson and Marlee Rose Henderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald H. Hinds and parents, Arthur Earl and Ruth McDole Lewis. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 381059956.
