Clarence Anselmo, Sr.

A retired pipefitter with the Local Union 198, he passed away at the Louisiana War Veterans Home on Thursday, January 20. He was 83 years old, a resident of Baton Rouge and served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War. Visiting will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Friday, January 21 from 5pm9pm. Visiting resumes at Resthaven Funeral Home on Saturday, January 22 from 11am until service at 1pm, conducted by Dean Jimmy Wax. Internment will be in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Keller Anselmo daughter, Lisa Anselmo son, Jeep Anselmo sister, Rosemary Anselmo Knight granddaughters, Ashley Anselmo, Kristy Anselmo Pretcher and Emily Anselmo and great grandson, Landon Pretcher. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Sam and Joe Anselmo.
