Clara Toups

Clara Quinn Toups was born on April 8th 1929 and passed on Tuesday, February 7th 2017 at 1:00 am. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend to many. Jesus picked a beautiful rose out to be in his heavenly garden. Her mission in life was to help others in need and the less fortunate. She was a devoted Catholic and lifetime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She was married 59 years to her one and only Clifton G. Toups. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Pamela Ann and Barbara T. Hull and her husband Russell Hull Sr.; and daughter in law Patricia Toups; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her father and mother Hezekiaha and Annie Quinn; her brother Jim; her sisters Wilhelmina, Dorothy Dupuy, Joe Sallinger, Grace Hice, and Mary Tucker and 2 grandsons Shane and Shawn Hull.

Visitation and Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2250 Main Street, Baton Rouge, LA on Monday, February 13, 2017. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Pallbearers will be Trey Butler, Russell Hull Jr, Andrew Gautreau, Terry Dupuy, Johnny Sallinger, and Phillip Hice.

The family would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the administration and staff of The Guest House for their loving and devoted care of our mother.
