A resident and native of Baton Rouge, he died at 11:55 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009. He was 25. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday, Oct. 26, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting continues at the funeral home on Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his mother, Lisa Harrison Rainwater and stepfather, Quinn; father, Daryl Jarreau and stepmother, Penny; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Faye Harrison; two sisters, Darlene Jarreau and Chelsea Rainwater; aunts, Gina Harrison and Karen Parker; uncles, Andrew Harrison and wife Sondra, and Ronnie Jarreau and wife Janice; aunt, Dolores Mix and husband Ronnie; cousins, Emma and Olivia Harrison, Amy and Ryan Jarreau and Stacy Bonaventure; and numerous friends. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Amelcar Jarreau Jr., and an uncle, Jerry Harrison Jr. Chris touched so many lives with his excitable spirit and his amazing sense of humor. Family and friends were in awe of his comical side. He loved imitating movie characters and was exceptional at doing so. Chris had a very unique way of looking at the world and acted accordingly. He had an insatiable passion for movies, directors and music which he loved sharing with everyone. He was also very proud of the screenplay he was working on. Chris had a certain je ne sais quoi that charmed everyone. He loved to make people laugh. The loss of our beloved Christopher has left an emptiness in his parents' lives that is simply indescribable. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
