Christine Lewis-Varley

Christine LewisVarley,
born in North Hampton, England and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the age of 68. Throughout her professional career, she has coached and mentored dozens of women. Her passion was the work she did with women in domestic violence shelters through her Power of Me programs.

Christine is survived by her children and their spouses, Danielle and DJ Conway, Karedith Wray, and Michael and Mischa Breard grandchildren, Madison, Carter, Kennedy, Grant, Isabelle, Peyton, Makenzie, and Hudson brothers, Peter Varley, and Roger Varley and wife Elaine five nephews one niece and her American and English sisters and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Jean Varley.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Trinity Episcopal Church, 3550 Morning Glory Ave. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am.
