Employed with Road Runner Towing for 18 years, she passed away Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011, at her home. She was 59, a resident of Denham Springs and native of McComb, Miss. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, Aug. 9, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Aug. 10, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her son, John A. Watts sister, Evelyn A. Devall two brothers, William G. Avants and wife Sheila, and Michael E. Avant and wife Wanda and two grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Sharon Jr. mother and father, William and Grace Avants and brother, Carl E. Avants.
