Proverbs 31:10. Who can find a virtuous woman for her price is far above rubies. Proverbs 31:29. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Cheryl Normand passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2014. She dearly loved her Savior, Jesus. Cheryl was devoted entirely to her husband, children, and grandchildren. Everything she set forth to do, she accomplished to perfection. Cheryl was an avid horse person who loved to ride and passed that love on to her granddaughters. She taught herself how to play musical instruments including the piano and clarinet, but excelled as a flutist and primarily played in worship groups. When she decided to take up painting, she drove herself to nothing but perfection from portraits to landscapes. Later, she decided to take up quilting, always taking on the most difficult patterns. She took great joy in cooking and preparing meals for her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Normand children, Cherilon Stevens and husband Dr. Rusty Stevens, Lauren Street, Neng Normand and wife Debbie Normand grandchildren, Jessica DuPont and husband James DuPont, Ben Stevens, Courtney Street, Sara Beth Stevens, Abigail Street, Kelsy Vu, Hayden Normand, Peyton Normand, and Addison Normand and greatgrandson, Eden James DuPont sister, Diane Shaw brotherinlaw, Joe Shaw brother, Kenneth Watson, Jr. and sisterinlaw, Ann Watson. Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Watson, Sr. and Camilla Watson Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Saturday, October 4, 2014, from 10:00 am until service time. Funeral service will be held at 12 noon.
