Cheryl "Cherry" Andrews Naul

Cheryl Andrews Naul, a loving teacher, wife and mother and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Carpenter House in Baton Rouge. She was 73.

She is survived by her husband Charles Lynn Naul, D.D.S,; two sons, Michael Andrew Naul and his partner, Stephen Schwarz and Steven Christopher Naul, and his wife, Amy Naul, and their son, Rylan Michael Naul; sisters, Cynthia Andrews Haydel and her husband, Michael Paul Haydel, M.D., and Donna Andrews Holland; brother, William Jackson "Jack" Andrews Jr, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Jackson "Bill" Andrews, Sr., Miriam Bordelon Andrews; and sister, Catherine Jean Andrews.

She was a member of St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandson, substitute teaching, gardening, and growing African violets.

Visitation and services will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway. Visitation will be Sunday, July 30, from 5 PM to 7 PM and Monday from 9 AM until Funeral Services at 10 AM. Interment will immediately follow the services.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital for their excellent care these last weeks. Also, neighbors, friends, and the staff and members of Broadmoor Baptist Church for their support of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Baton Rouge Food Bank.
