Charlie Zube

A loving father, grandfather and greatgrandfather passed away on June 3, 2012 age of 91. Mr. Zube was a resident of Shreveport, for over 40 years before moving to Baton Rouge in 2004. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed woodworking and building toys for his grandchildren. Visitation at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highwy, on Tuesday, June 5, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by his son Charles L. Zube and wife Barbara of Shreveport daughter Judy Z. Neal and husband Mark and daughter Janice K. Zube of Baton Rouge grandchildren, Danni Halliday, Jennifer Cappleman, David Zube, Dennis Neal, Natalie Brassard, Stephanie Goh, Cory Neal and Todd Neal and fourteen greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Belle Zube son, Dannie E. Zube parents, Edward and Mollie Zube four brothers and four sisters. The Zube, Charlie R. family would like to thank Andrea Phillips for the loving care that she has provided to Mr. Zube over the past year.
