The general manager for Priority One Air Solutions LLC in Tampa, Fla., and a resident of Tampa, he died Monday, July 27, 2009. He was 31 and a native of Rosedale. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 2 p.m. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by a son, Charles E. Taz McDonald III, age 6; mother and stepfather, Charmaine B. and Gordon Golsan; father, Charles Charlie McDonald Sr.; grandmother, Marjorie McDonald; two sisters, Gina Benedict and husband Jamie, and Laurie Murray; a brother, Dillon McDonald; godchildren, Cameron Benedict, Trenton Walden and Adam Layton; a niece, Brooke Wilkes; four nephews, Cameron, Courtland and Clay Benedict and Brandon Murray; best friend and mentor, Don Ward; and his beloved office staff. Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Julius and Ina Del MeMe Bush; paternal grandfather, George W. McDonald; paternal grandmother, Shirley The Nan Golsan; and two uncles, George McDonald Jr. and Michael McDonald Sr. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Jude Children's Miracle Network.
