Charles Higgins

Charles Marion Higgins, age 90, a resident of Baton Rouge, La, passed away December 24, 2018. Charles is survived by his loving wife Kathleen R. Higgins; sons, Charles M. Higgins, Jr. wife Michelle, Christopher D. Higgins; 2 grandchildren, Sara and Michael Higgins of Tucson, Arizona; numerous nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by sisters, Beatrice Jackson, Bessie Drummond, Etta Kirkland, Florence Calender, Lorraine Jones and Ruby Rapasky; brothers, Alvie Higgins, Buddy Higgins, George Higgins, Joe Higgins and Wallace Higgins. Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. Visitations will continue Saturday, December 29, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Denham Springs, 27735 Hwy 16, Denham Springs, La. 70726, from 9:00am until service at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Higgins Family Cemetery in Liberty, MS. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank   www.brfoodbank.org in Charles Marion Higgins name.
