Charles Ernest Foy Jr. "C.E. or Charlie"

Charles Ernest Foy Jr., age 90, who was a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on May 6, 2015 at his home.

C.E. is survived by his wife of 69 years, Edith Cragin Foy; three sons, Charles Patrick Foy and wife, Janet, James Stephen "Beaver" Foy, and John Gregory Foy; two daughters, Cynthia Foy Tirante and husband, Tony, and Charlene Foy Raymond and husband, Kenny; twelve grandchildren, Derek Bradley Polk and wife, Becky, Chad Michael Polk and wife, Allison, Craig Austin Polk, Jeffrey John Adams, Heather Raymond Banker and husband, Ron, Allison Foy Lanza and husband, Shaun, Adam Christopher Foy and wife, Ashley, Jacob Stephen Foy, Trisha Foy Jarreau and husband, Lance, Aimee Foy Garey and husband, Rico, Patrick Michael Foy and wife, Laura, and Christina Elizabeth Foy; and 20 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles "Pete" and Henrietta Foy, Sr.; granddaughter, Lauryn Raymond Leger Daboval; and daughter-in-law, Linda Berteau Foy.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Friday, May 8, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visiting hours will resume on Saturday, May 9, 2015, from 9:00 AM until the time of services.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 10:00 AM at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Funeral Home.

Interment will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
