Charles Domma

Charles E. Domma, of Gonzales, passed away on May 21, 2016, in Jackson, Louisiana. Charles was born in Baton Rouge, to Nicholas and Lillie May Domma on April 30, 1933. He was a graduate of Catholic High School and of Louisiana State University. He was a US Navy veteran, and a veteran of the Korean War. He retired from the Dow Chemical facility in Plaquemine.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Dolores, and both parents. Charles is survived by his wife, Mary, and their seven children, Catherine Sarrazin, Pamela Cazaubon, Charles Ann Sanchez, Evelyn McDonner, Mark Domma, Ruth Ellwood, and Susan Devillier, and by his brother, Ronald Domma, and by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Highway from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, 1022 North Burnside Ave. Gonzales at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Arrangements are under the direction of Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral House. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the building fund of Our Lady of the Lake's Children's Hospital.
