Charles Howard DeMoss,
resident of Baton Rouge, LA. and native of Nashiville, TN., peacefully passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the age of 84. He courageously served as a Major in the United States Army in the Korean War. Charles was a very proud veteran. He was a department supervisor for ATT for 37 years. Charles hobbies included fixing electronics and being a friendly and crafty handyman for his neighborhood. He was a member of The Lutheran Church of Our Saviour and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. He was a loving a devoted husband, father, and uncle.
Charles is survived by his wife, Marie K. DeMoss son, Steve DeMoss and wife Cindy nieces, Dana DeMoss and Karen Ann Daye and sisterinlaw, Emily Kircheval.
Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, on Sunday, May 4, 2014 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Visitation will resume at Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 3555 Jones Creek Rd., Baton Rouge on Monday, May 5, 2014 from 9:00 am until service at 10:00 am. Rev. Kim LittleBrooks will officiate. Interment to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge.
