Charles Michael Bongiovanni, born January 27, 1952, was called by Our Lord Jesus to Heaven on July 13, 2018. He was 66 years old. He was raised in New Orleans, LA attended Brother Martin High School, UNO and resided in Baton Rouge.
He was a steadfast parishioner of St. Thomas Moore church who gave his time and devotion to many community outreach programs. He was a veteran and First Lieutenant with the Louisiana Army National Guard.
He was the true definition of a family man whose honest values were unwavering in both his personal and business life. He was an inventor, incredible salesman, an inspiration to all he met.
He loved to fish, fly remote control airplanes, walk the LSU lakes, play tennis and most of all loved his family, especially his grandchildren, with all of his being.
He is survived by his loving wife, Paula of 43 years, children Brad (Blair) Bongiovanni, Melissa (David) Landers and Lauren (Brad) Johnson and grandchildren Caroline, Nicholas, Maddie, Molly, Mason, Reese and Luca. Siblings Barbara Boothby and Adam Peter Bongiovanni, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents Adam Peter and Inez Bongiovanni.

Visitation to be held, Thursday, July 19th at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church in Baton Rouge at 9:30am until 11:30am, with a memorial mass directly following.
