Charles Ammons, Jr.

A retired employee of ATTLucent Technologies and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 11:50 a.m. Monday, Feb. 15, 2010. He was 72, a native of Brunswick, Ga., and a U.S. Army veteran. Visiting at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Old Jefferson Highway, on Saturday, Feb. 20, from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Michael Collins, celebrant. Entombment in St. George Catholic Mausoleum. He is survived by his wife, Carol A. Ammons two daughters and sonsinlaw, Dianne and John Quebedeaux Jr. and Cindy and Brandon Bencaz son, John C. Ammons sister and brotherinlaw, Wylene and Stan Corwin and four grandchildren, Alex and Kevin Quebedeaux and Brett and Audrey Bencaz. He was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
