Celine Broussard

Celine Marie Broussard, age 65, of Prairieville, Louisiana passed away on January 28, 2023, at her home surrounded by family.  She was born August 2, 1957, in Covington, Louisiana to the late Richard and Vivian Boudreaux.

After graduating in 1975, from Redemptorist High School, Celine went on to find love and start a family.  She spent those first precious years at home raising her babies.  Later, she would enter the workforce of medical coding, retiring in 2019.

Celine found joy in southern cooking and spending time with her grandchildren, who affectionately called her ‘Mimi’.

To know her was to love her.  Her smile and charisma were a beacon of light to all.  Her gentle soul and soft-spoken kindness radiated in everything she did.

Celine is survived by her husband of 47 years, Kenneth J. ‘Kenny’ Broussard; their three children and spouses, Brad and Jennifer Broussard, Adele and Joshua Perkins, and Kristin Broussard; and their beloved grandchildren Hannah Purtle, Ethan Broussard, Chloe Broussard, and Breckin Perkins.  She is also survived by her five siblings:  Richard and Effie Boudreaux, Roddy and Barbara Boudreaux, Bernadette and Tommy Hester, Margaret Young and Veronica Bolin; as well as numerous other family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethany North Campus, 13855 Plank Road in Baker, Louisiana.
