Cecilia Tramonte

Cecilia "Cissy" Tramonte, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was taken by the Lord to her heavenly reward on November 6, 2016, seven days following her 66th birthday.

She was an active member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church Parish where she served several ministries. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and godmother. She loved spending time with family, especially cooking for Italian family get-togethers. Her generous and caring spirit, and desire to make those around her happy will be deeply missed. She loved being "MiMi" to her loving grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Charles Tramonte; daughter, Shelley Tramonte; son Jarrod Tramonte and wife Betsey; two grandchildren, Charles and Claire Tramonte; sister, Gina Cheveallier and numerous family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd J. and Mary Siemann; brother, Lloyd J. Siemann Jr., and sister, Darlene S. LaPlace.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visiting hours will resume on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 2250 Main Street, from 9:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Siemann, Brett Cheveallier, Michael Talley, Mark Talley, Brett Baker, and Andrew Freese. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Jason Tramonte, Charles Tramonte, and Claire Tramonte.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
