Catherine Head

Catherine Elizabeth Head, native and resident of Baton Rouge passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the age of 20. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her loving parents, Jonathan and Priscilla Head maternal grandparents, Vincent and Catherine Tambone godfather, Joseph and his wife Barbara Head godmother, Ann Marie and her husband Gary Rozmus two uncles, Santo and wife Laura Tambone, and Leonard and wife Maureen Tambone five cousins, Sara Head, Catherine and Anthony Rozmus, and Michael and Nicholas Tambone. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Arthur and Lillian Head. Cathy was a 2010 graduate of Gables Academy. She was kind, generous, caring, fun, always happy and had a great smile. Cathy loved swimming, music and she was a huge animal lover. In 2005 she was one of the youngest people to receive the Where Service Matters award given in recognition of her volunteer contributions to Capital Area Animal Welfare Society CAAWS. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 6 pm until 8 pm and will resume on Thursday, August 9 from 9 am until funeral service at 11 am. Burial to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to CAAWS. Please visit www.resthavenbatonrouge.com to leave condolences to the family.
