A full-time homemaker and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 3:50 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 78 and a native of Fordoche. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Friday, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 1:30 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Frank Bass. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Neyland and husband Denny, Angela Smith and partner Karl LeBlanc and Stephanie Henderson and husband Robert; three sons, Charles Ray Gremillion and wife Jeri, Rodney Gremillion and partner Donna Rimes and Stephen Gremillion; a sister, Joliette Chustz and husband Kermit; 10 grandchildren, Shannon Loftin, Matthew Neyland and wife Dara, Rachel, Lynette and Charles Gremillion Jr., Taylor and Aaron Gremillion, Morgan Walker, Joseph Henderson and Courtney Rimes; four great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Alexandra and Logan Loftin and Caden Fletcher. Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, E.J. Gremillion III; parents, Joseph and Catherine Katie Latona Colletti; and a sister, Felicie Aguillard. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, sons-in-law, and a nephew, Raymond Aguillard. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to M. Patrick Stagg, M.D., for his care and compassion.
